Task Forces

This concept and the organization of the forces necessary to complete a task derived from the military was very well received in the field of projects management (ICT). Each organization as well as company usually has permanent division of responsibilities and established hierarchy. It makes the task undertaken by the organization being assigned to departments, divisions, cells, teams and those tasks run to be implement are included within the personal resources of individuals fulfilling the task.

Application of Task Forces model solves these problems. Each task is assigned to teams, but their composition is flexible. The team is selected individually for each task and after the implementation of the goals the temporary team members return to their original assignments.
On the one hand such a flexible system is very convenient and allows you to always match the skills and size of the team with the task. On the other hand, it requires maturity of workers and team leaders [perfect team communication and properly flexible management system within the company. In this case, cost of accounting seems to be an important problem, since the costs arise in many places not necessarily directly related to the team appointed temporarily.
In practice, in a large part of the innovative projects which are characterized by unique conditions of implementation and which require the participation of many experts, this model of organization works perfectly.
One of its huge advantages is absorption and release of resources within the enterprise in a flexible and fast way, but also a fully controllable. The last is particularly important in the projects where safety and quality of intellectual property are critical to the work (ICT).
